104 MW hydel project to be constructed in Tanahu.

The hydropower project is said to be constructed by Tanahu Hydropower Limited which also oversees the ongoing construction of the other 140 MW hydel undertaking at Rishing Rural Municipality-1, Tanahu.

The Asian Development Bank has given a financial assistance of 3.5 million (US Dollar) to the construction company where the power to be generated from the 104 MW Lower Seti Hydropwer project will be executed with the water collected in a concrete dam scaling 140 metre flowing along the Seti river (Tanahu Hydropwer Project) as well as Madi river. Similarly, the company will now be seeking a survey for the energy production as they have been authorized.
