'Rabindra Adhikari Memorial Journalism Award ' founded.

In remembrance of the late Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation , Rabindra Adhikari, whom the nation had lost in a tragic helicopter crash back in 2019, the foundation named after him will now confer awards to some promising journalists who have played an important role for the development and tourism.

Stating from the current year, Rabindra Adhikari Memorial Foundation would be presenting the award on the occasion of the late politician birth anniversary on Baisakh 22(Nepalese calendar). As today marks the third memorial day of him, the chairperson of the foundation during a press meet shared that Rs 2.5 million fund has already been established for the journalism award. Likewise, various media personalities participated in the function to talk about his invaluable contribution in the field of media, among other sectors.
