Gandaki province government to offer grants for animal firms.

In order to promote small- scale enterprises including the poultry and livestock firms, the provincial government alongside the Veterinary Hospital and Livestock Service Expert Centre will provide assistance to such 70 firms in baglung district in which they would be getting 50 % of the mentioned grant.

The campaign has been launched at areas such as, Rayadanda (Baglung Municipality-11), Nisigaun(Nisikhola Rural Municipality), Lekhani (Kathekola Rural Municipality) respectively. As per the scheme, a grant worth one hundred and fifty thousand will be given to these firms who were selected on the basis of the following criteria whereby the animal firm needed to own at least 1,000 (broiler chickens), 250(local chickens), 500(layer chickens), 5(adult pigs) 15(adult goats) respectively.
