Mahabir Pun to be awarded with Gandaki Ratna.

Mahabir Pun- the chairperson of the National Innovation Centre will be honoured on February 23 by Gandaki province government.

A cabinet meeting of the provincial government took the plunge to honour the man who is highly regarded for his selfless contribution towards making the lives of the people in the remote areas better through his project called as, 'Nepal Wireless Networking Pokhara' that works to promote the platform of wireless technology. Moreover, Pun, who is known as a scientist, humanitarian, innovator, activist as well a social entrepreneur has worked immensely in the field of science and technology and thus the native of Myagdi district is going to be awarded with the Gandaki Ratna Award.
