Tractor accident kills 1, injures 2

One person died whereas two others sustained injuries in a tractor accident in the Rainas municipality of the Lamjung district in Gandaki on Wednesday.

The victim has been identified as Amrit Chilwal, who appears to be in his early 40s, a resident of Dhamilikuwa, Rainas-6. He died on the spring t when the vehicle (Ga 1 Ta 4445) heading towards Dhamilikuwa from Tinpiple, Rainas-5, fell off the road at Ghamebhir.

Inspector Jagadish Regmi of the District Police Office says Deepak Pariyar (19) and Gopal Pariyar (21), both the residents of the same municipality sustained injuries. They have been discharged following treatment at local health facilities.

Deepak was behind the wheel when the accident occurred.
