Manang Marshyandi Football Club, the 6th time titleholders however could not clinch the trophy of the Aaha-Rara Gold Cup held at Pokhara Stadium as they got beaten up by the APF Football Club of the Armed Police Force (APF).

Apart from, winning the cash price of Rs 1 million, the victory was somewhat special for the APF club since this was the very first win for them in all these years of the matches. Meanwhile, they had secured their place as being the first time champion in the tournament by a tiebreaker(5-4).
