21.3 MW Thulokola hydropower project's construction begins in Myagdi.

The construction company, Samyukta Urja Private Limited is going to build a hydel project in Raghunga Rural Municipality, Myagdi where the energy produced from this site will be transferred to the national grid via the 132 KV under construction substation at Ambang, Raghunga Rural Municipality-3 respectively.

The company has already begun the construction work of the project with an estimated cost of around Rs 357 billion and is likely to complete the work by December, 2023. Similarly, the project chief while speaking to RSS, spoke about the layout of the hydropower located in rural municipalities 7,8 of Myagdi district in which a 37 m bailey bridge in Rahughat as well as a 115 m long tunnel with a 9 km road from Bandighat to Sugarthala have been constructed so as to connect the dam site and powerhouse in these places.
