Nepal's Covid-19 tally

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that Nepal’s Covid-19 tally has reached 1,023,307 as of Saturday afternoon.

The ministry said 6,462 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 13,377 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which returned 5,598 returned positive. Likewise, 4,060 people underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which an additional 864 tested positive.

In the past 24 hours, 1,416 people have achieved recovery whereas the government says there were four deaths today.

Meanwhile, 49,473 people were vaccinated today.
