Man dies after being vaccinated

After getting vaccinated against COVID-19, a man died on his way home in Kailali.

On Sunday, a 53-year-old man from the district’s Kailari Rural Municipality Ward No. 4 died.

He had administered the second dose of Vero Cell vaccine against COVID-19 at the ward health office of Kailali Rural Municipality.

He died within half an hour of getting vaccinated, according to the health office.

According to Ramesh Rokaya, chief of basic health at the same ward office, the man died within half an hour of getting vaccinated. On Nov 29, the deceased got vaccinated for the first time.
