UML chairperson and former prime minister KP Sharma Oli has been contracted with COVID-19. His wife Radhika Shakya has also been infected.
Initially, the antigens were tested. After the couple underwent PCR testing, the infection was confirmed.

After the virus was confirmed, they are recovering at their private residence in Balkot, according to Oli’s private secretariat.
Bishnu Poudel, General Secretary Shankar Pokharel, and Deputy General Secretary Prithvi Subba Gurung were previously infected with COVID-19.
