Naming Madhes Province honours Madhes movement

Chairperson of Janata Samajbadi Party, Upendra Yadav, has said naming Province 2 as Madhes Province has honoured the Madhes movement.

Addressing a celebration programme after the Province-2 Assembly passed the name- Madhes Province and its capital city as Janakpurdham on Monday, Chairperson Yadav viewed, "The sacrifice of Madhes people and their dream is reflected with the naming of Madhes Province. We're happy to have this name of our province."

Yadav thanked the Province Assembly members, and political leaders for endorsing this name.
