Pokhara-Muglin road expansion forges ahead.

The project that will see the expansion of the current two-lane road to four-lane road along the Prithvi Highway is now expediting as the initial task of cutting down trees has already begun in the western part of the roadway.

The road expansion project which is supported financially by the Asian Development Bank has seen some progress lately whereby some 1,800 trees have already been cut against the requirement of clearing a sum of 3,163 trees along the west section of the road. Furthermore, the west part includes the 39-km road from Set Bridge, Pokhara towards Jamune, Tanahu with its project office located at Pokhara.Similarly, the eastern part includes the 43-km road from Jamune to Anbukhaireni along the eastern part with its office located at Gundai.
