Election Commission Nepal announces the election date.

The election commission had organized an all-party meeting inorder to announce the expected date of the local election.

As per the announcement, the political parties were informed that the election is likely to be held in the first week of the Nepali month of Magh (January-February) as abiding by the law of commission, they need a minimum time frame of 120 days to conduct the election thereby giving the leaders enough time to prepare for the elections as well as construct their policies.
