At the time of the second wave of Covid-19 virus surge, the health protection and surveillance centre which was brought into existence at Aabhukhaireni Rural Municipality,Tanahu some four months ago will now be again used by the authorities following the risk of Omicron virus as free covid-19 test will also be provided and any contaminated person would be placed in complete isolation as the entrants are going to be under surveillance.

According to sources, the provincial government is going to tighten security measures at major transit in the province wherein all the vehicles that will be entering as well as existing will be monitored and those travelling should adhere to the safety health protocols. Similarly, at the surveillance centre, more workforces will be enforced and installation of necessary health equipments will be done.
