Removal of landslide debris begins

Debris of landslide that blocked the Syafrubesi-Rasuwagadhi road section since last Tuesday is being removed now.

The task of road clearance is taking place with support from local administration. Heavy equipment such as excavators are being used to remove the debris since this morning.

Technicians informed that it may take two days to remove the landslide debris since the task demands higher level of precaution and safety measures.

With the disruption of highway, the containers on the way to Nepal from China have been stranded off the road in Timure region.
