Children to receive Moderna vaccine from tomorrow in Pokhara.

The health division,Pokhara Metropolitan City has recently released a notice regarding the arrangement of Covid-19 vaccine which will be given to children aged 12-17 at the following locations.

As a part of the vaccination campaign, the children of the particular age group would be receiving the vaccine at 12 centres wherein the campaign will run from January 4-5 respectively. As per sources, due to Pfizer vaccine syringe shortage, the authority decided to administer the other vaccine(Moderna) in the abovementioned educational institutions and health centres as previously it was announced by the Ministry of Health and Population that in districts like Kaski and Baglung of Gandaki Province there will be Pfizer vaccine inoculation campaign for the school going children.
