382 new COVID-19 cases, 252 recoveries, 0 deaths in 24 hours

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that Nepal’s Covid-19 tally has reached 925,015 as of Saturday afternoon.

The ministry said 382 new cases, 252 recoveries whereas the government says zero deaths were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 5,007 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which returned 342 returned positive. Likewise, 15,952 people underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which an additional 40 tested positive.

There are 4,969 active cases across the country. Of them, 241 are hospitalised, 89 in intensive care units and 27 on ventilators.

Of the total cases so far, 812,210 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 11,594 died, according to the ministry.

Meanwhile, 139,152 people were vaccinated today.
