5th Pokhara Sports Award to be held tomorrow.

The fifth edition of 'Pokhara Sports Award' is going to take place tomorrow(July 2) in a semi-virtual environment at Badminton Hall, Pokhara Stadium where Gandaki Province Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokhrel will grace the event as the chief guest.

This year's ceremony will broadcast live on ABC Television and Pokhara Television (NSJF YouTube channel) from 3 pm onwards.

Speaking at the press conference,the organiser Ekaraj Giri who also chairs at the Nepal Sports Journalists Forum(NSJF),Gandaki revealed that by adopting necessary health safety measures the distribution of the awards will commence under which the previous year awardees will confer the prize alongside the present winners since last year the function couldn't take off.

It's been learnt that NSJF,Gandaki will award a team and individuals in seven different categories consisting of male,female,coach, emerging athlete,lifetime achievement and sports association of the year respectively. Likewise,two sports journalists will be expecting to receive the honour on the show.
