WHO General calls the Nepali health workers as 'Heroes'.

On Friday,The director general Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus ,of the World Health Organisation (WHO),retweeted a viral video of a health worker all adorned in a white PPE suit striding forward to grasp COVID-19 vaccine boxes via an iron pipe across an overflowing rivulet at Lete in Mustang district of Nepal.

He was applauding the Nepali health workers who have been assuming their responsibilities against all the odds and further advocated for their "Vaccination equity".

Meanwhile,The vaccination ccampaign in Nepal was launched on January 27,of this year. As per The Ministry of Health and Population, Nepal's population which accounts for 28.61million (as of 2019) , about 730,728 people are fully vaccinated whereas only 2,491,114 have received only the first dose.
