Gandaki Province CM welcomes the newly appointed state chief.

The newly appointed province chief of Gandaki Province, Prithvi Man Gurung took charge of office at Province chief office in Pokhara, today and has further encouraged everyone to participate equally for promoting democracy. As a matter of fact,democracy was ushered in by the people of Nepal,after almost 60-70 years of struggle, added Gurung.

Even though,President Bidya Devi Bhandari on July 27, appointed Prithvi Man Gurung as the province chief of Gandaki,Gurung has assumed his office today whereby he was warmly received by the chief minister, Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokhrel who took Gurung's appointment as a matter of pride and honour for the state as Gurung being a veteran leader of Nepali Congress had fought for the protection of Nepal's democracy, for so long.

According to RSS,Province Chief Gurung spoke about the need for everyone to share responsibility and work jointly in order to strengthen institutional development and promote democracy.Meanwhile,Netra Nath Adhikari-speaker of the province assembly, as well other members of the parliament,among others were also present to felicitate Gurung.
